Dominic MacSorley, CEO of Concern Worldwide, gave an inspiring keynote presentation on 2 September 2019 to over 130 students at University of Warsaw as part of the PRUV Project’s International Symposium.  The students are embarking on the Erasmus Mundus MSc (Humanitarian Action) programme offered by the Network for Humanitarian Action (NOHA).  

In his address Mr MacSorley highlighted some of the current challenges facing the humanitarian sector, including the need to bridge funding shortfalls and to ensure access by humanitarian actors to  populations in need.  He highlighted the importance of cash-based programming and supported calls for an increased drive towards localising the humanitarian system.
